Back in the Studio

I've had a hectic week and am thankfully back in my studio for a productive day of painting. Working on two paintings Rain and Three Lilies.

Watch the best parade in the city from my studio! (Tomorrow - Saturday) It's kind of a freak-show, but there will be sangria and mimosas. Parade starts at 11 am. (2674 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.)

Here are a couple of paintings I did for the 2010 Cedarburg Plein Air Painting Contest. Had a great time with friends and kids hanging out in beautiful Cedarburg. The reception and silent auction is Saturday, June 26th from 4:30 – 7:00 pm at the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Wish me luck!

Hallelujah! One down, two to go. I wish my camera could accurately capture the color. It seems a little yellow and washed out on the screen. Gotta see it in person...

Kelsey Lake (Left Panel - Work in Progress)

I'm pretty happy with how this one is turning out. Just have to do a few more additions to it: Reed reflections and a few sunlight sparkles. I'll be so happy when these are done. Spending the next 3 to 4 days in my studio.
